Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin, the 5th substantive Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, embodies a powerful synthesis of pragmatic academic knowledge and administrative expertise, distinguished by a diverse array of leadership qualities. He is a thorough-bred academic whose consummate administrative skills have made a significant and positive impact. A highly dedicated educator, Dr. Kadiri is an Electrical and Electronic Engineer with specialized and impressive knowledge base in Networking and Telecommunication.

He is a person of esteemed character: a devoted teacher, a committed lecturer, and a staunch developer of raw talent. An excellent role model and consummate community asset, he is also a distinguished academic and relentless researcher with an impeccable public service record.

Born on Thursday, August 8, 1968, in the ancient town of Osogbo, Osun State, Dr. Kadiris academic qualifications are extensive and include a National Diploma (ND) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering; a Master’s Degree in Business Administration; a Master’s Degree in Industrial & Labour Relations; a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science; a Master’s Degree in Computer Science; and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, specializing in Networking and Telecommunication.

A testament to his celebrated accomplishments as an academic, Engr. Dr. Kadiri has authored one hundred and seventeen (117) publications of national and international reference. His research findings, situated within his fields of academic interest, proffer solutions to many challenges facing the nation. Furthermore, he is a renowned international reviewer for several esteemed bodies, including the Academia.edu/Academia Letters Team; International Journals on Research in STEM Education (IJRSE); Journals of Advances in Research (AIR-37460); Journals of Basic and Applied Research International (JOBARI-5520); and British Journals of Mathematics and Computer Science (BJMCS-33439).

Engr. Dr. Kadiri holds membership in 12 professional bodies, among them the Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Fellow); International Association of Engineers (IAENG); Institute of Data Processing Management of Nigeria (Fellow); the Nigeria Institution of Engineering Management; Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN); and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (Fellow).
