This is to inform the general public that university admission is presently on at Federal Polytechnic Offa in collaboration with Federal University of Technology, Minna to run degree programs in the following courses:

•  * Electrical and Electronics Engineering
•  * Mechanical Engineering
•  * Food Science and Technology

ABOUT OUR PROGRAMME

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the affiliation arrangement between the Federal Polytechnic Offa and the Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMinna) for the running of B. Tech/B.Eng. Programmes in the Polytechnic. The major aim of this programme is to provide opportunity for teeming youths to realize their objective of getting access to university education. Both participating Institutions will work together to promote cooperation in research endeavours. This Programme will also provide a platform where education could be married with strong practical background achievable in the Polytechnic.

Ultimately, the programme is designed to promote self-actualization, technological efficiency, and imbibe professionalism with dignity

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

100 LEVEL: Candidate must obtain a minimum UTME Score of 160 and above and credits pass in 5 relevant subjects.

200 LEVEL: Candidate must obtain a direct entry form and pass at ND/NID with at least Lower Credit, Merit at NCE, IJMB candidate must obtain a minimum of 5 points while candidate possessing CPES FUT Minna must obtain a minimum of 4 points.

300 LEVEL: Candidate must obtain a direct entry form and pass HND with a minimum of lower Credit.

GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION

A. UTME ADMISSION

B. DIRECT ENTRY INTO 200L

Candidate must obtain a direct entry form and possess a minimum of LOWER CREDIT at National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) or Merit at NCE level. The candidates with IJMB must score a minimum of five (5) points or four (4) points (CPES, FUT, Minna) with a pass at two (2) subjects relevant to their proposed courses.

C. DIRECT ENTRY INTO 300L

Candidate must obtain a direct entry form and possess a minimum of lower credit at HND or Higher Innovation Diploma (HID) with GGPA of 2.6 and above.

D. CHANGE OF INSTITUTION

Applicants who wish to change to our institution are advised to visit any JAMB-accredited center and choose Federal Polytechnic Offa in Affiliation with the Federal University of Technology, Minna as their most preferred institution.

E. REGISTRATION AND SCREENING PROGRAM,

1. All Applicants for screening are to report to the Directorate of Affiliate Degree Programme. Thereafter applicant will visit the polytechnic portal (portal.fedpoffaonline.edu.ng) and make a payment of N2,000.
2. Fill required information, including results), and other relevant documents.
3. 3. Upload scanned copies of results(s)/certificate(s), State of origin,
Birth certificate etc.
4. 4. Print out the admission slip.

F. SCREENING OF ADMITTED CANDIDATES

The following items are required for submission at the venue of the screening exercise.

(i) Jamb Registration Slip

(ii) Screening Registration Slip

(iii) O level results) presented for admission

UMB, ND, NID, NCE and HND results presented for admission (iv) JAMB

Note: Candidates offered admission should present themselves for screening and endeavour to immediately accept the offer on JAMB Central Admission Processing Systems (CAPS).
